Privacy Notice
STL Home Project Guide is operated by Nfinier, LLC. This notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information through this site and the affiliated STL Guide Network, including current and future category-specific or sister sites operated by Nfinier, LLC.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, state, property type, project category and details, preferred contact method, timing, consent choices, communications, and referral or project feedback.
We may also receive technical and usage information such as device and browser information, IP address, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, campaign parameters, cookies, logs, and similar information generated when you use the site. We do not currently use third-party advertising pixels on this site.
How we use information
We use information to review, administer, categorize, and route project requests, including routing a request to another STL Guide Network site when a different category may be a better match; identify potentially suitable providers; communicate with you; operate, secure, and improve the network; measure marketing and referral performance; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain business records; resolve disputes; enforce our agreements; and comply with law.
We may contact you about your request and to ask whether a provider responded, whether an appointment or estimate occurred, whether you hired a provider, whether work was provided or completed, and for feedback about the provider, referral, or project outcome. As stated beside the form checkbox, project-related calls or texts may use automated technology where permitted by law. Optional marketing communications require a separate choice, are sent only as permitted by law, and may be withdrawn at any time.
How we disclose information
With the agreement you provide when submitting a request, we may disclose request information to one or more independent service providers that may be able to assist with your project. Those providers may contact you directly and may store the information in their own email, phone, customer-management, or business systems.
We also use service providers to operate the site and process information on our behalf. These currently include OpenAI Sites, which supports site publishing and management, and Cloudflare, which supports site delivery and security; and Zoho, which provides the request form and email services and stores form submissions and related messages. We may also use vendors supporting security, communications, analytics, customer management, and business operations.
We may disclose information when required or permitted by law; to protect rights, property, safety, or security; to investigate fraud or misuse; in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or other business transaction; or at your direction. Nfinier, LLC may receive compensation from participating providers for introductions, referrals, advertising, or resulting opportunities that involve the request-specific sharing described in this Notice. We do not sell standalone lists of consumer personal information. Depending on applicable law, you may have privacy rights concerning certain disclosures; see our Privacy Choices page.
Analytics and cross-site measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand visits, viewed pages, referring sources, device information, navigation between STL Guide Network sites, form starts, and completed requests or applications. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, ZIP codes, project descriptions, application answers, or other form-field contents to Google Analytics through our configured events.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer and document project requests and referrals, communicate with you, maintain consent and opt-out records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of record, the status of the request, and applicable legal requirements.
We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for a legal claim, investigation, security matter, or legal hold. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, it may be deleted or de-identified, subject to routine backup and archival processes.
Your choices and requests
You may opt out of optional marketing emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us. You may also ask us to stop project-related calls or texts by contacting us or using an opt-out method provided in a communication. We may retain limited contact and suppression information to honor that request.
You may contact us with questions or requests concerning your personal information. We will evaluate and respond to requests as required by applicable law. We may retain information as permitted or required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, and legitimate business recordkeeping.
Independent providers
Providers are independent third parties with their own information practices. Nfinier, LLC does not control their services, systems, or privacy practices. Review a provider's privacy practices before giving the provider additional information.
Security and processing locations
We and our service providers use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to their applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
Children
The site and its request form are intended for adults age 18 or older and are not directed to children.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
